Terms of Service
These Terms explain the rules for using the NodeBlaster website, placing orders, receiving support, and using NodeBlaster hardware and related software.
Agreement
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By visiting the NodeBlaster website, placing an order, submitting a build inquiry, using a checkout page, requesting support, or using a NodeBlaster product, you agree to these Terms of Service and any posted policies that apply to your order.
If you do not agree, do not use the website, place an order, or use NodeBlaster services. These Terms may be updated from time to time. The version posted on this page controls unless a written agreement signed by NodeBlaster says otherwise.
Product
2. Refurbished hardware and custom builds
NodeBlaster systems are refurbished and rebuilt Intel NUC-based computers configured for Bitcoin node, solo mining node, and related mining-server workflows. Refurbishment may include cleaning, inspection, BIOS updates, cooling work, memory and storage testing, software setup, and configuration based on the selected build.
Because units are refurbished and configured in small batches, cosmetic condition, component brands, internal layouts, port appearance, and minor build details may vary. Product photos, screenshots, performance examples, and configuration descriptions are provided for general guidance and may not show the exact unit shipped.
NodeBlaster may substitute comparable or better components when needed for availability, reliability, thermal performance, or compatibility.
Mining
3. Mining, node operation, and no earnings promise
Mining and node operation depend on networks, software, block difficulty, hashrate, latency, power, uptime, coin markets, pool settings, wallet settings, user configuration, and third-party infrastructure outside NodeBlaster's control.
NodeBlaster does not promise that any product will find blocks, earn coins, generate profit, maintain a specific uptime, reduce latency by a specific amount, preserve wallet value, or produce any financial result. Any examples, screenshots, block histories, or performance discussions are illustrative and are not guarantees.
You are responsible for understanding the risks of mining, self-custody, wallet addresses, network fees, taxes, energy use, and applicable laws before using the product.
Orders
4. Orders, payment, taxes, and shipping
Prices, configurations, promotions, coupons, shipping offers, and availability may change before an order is accepted. An order is not accepted until payment is authorized and NodeBlaster confirms the order for fulfillment.
You are responsible for providing accurate billing, shipping, email, phone, wallet, configuration, and support information. NodeBlaster may cancel, reject, or delay an order if information is incomplete, payment is not approved, fraud checks fail, inventory changes, or legal restrictions apply.
Shipping dates are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise. If shipment is delayed materially, NodeBlaster will contact you with available options, which may include waiting for shipment or canceling the order where required by law. Risk of loss passes according to the shipment terms used for the order.
Taxes, import duties, carrier fees, address-correction charges, and other government or delivery charges may be your responsibility unless the checkout clearly says otherwise.
Warranty
5. Limited warranty and support
Unless the order page or written warranty states a different period, NodeBlaster includes a limited 90-day parts and labor warranty and 30 days of live online support for eligible systems.
The limited warranty covers covered defects in materials or workmanship under normal use during the warranty period. It does not cover misuse, abuse, neglect, improper power, overheating caused by customer environment, liquid damage, physical damage, unauthorized modifications, unsupported software changes, wallet mistakes, lost credentials, lost seed phrases, third-party app failures, blockchain network conditions, normal wear, or issues caused by failure to follow setup and maintenance instructions.
Warranty service may require troubleshooting, remote diagnostics, return authorization, repair, replacement parts, replacement unit, or another reasonable remedy chosen by NodeBlaster. Do not ship a product back without written return authorization.
Some states do not allow limits on implied warranties or certain exclusions, so some limits may not apply to you. These Terms do not remove rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.
Returns
6. Returns, cancellations, and refunds
Custom-configured, refurbished, or prepared-to-order systems may be difficult to cancel once work has started. If you need to cancel or change an order, contact NodeBlaster as soon as possible.
Returns, exchanges, and refunds are handled under the return policy shown at checkout, in the order confirmation, or in writing from NodeBlaster. Returned products must be complete, reasonably protected for shipment, and free of additional damage caused after delivery.
Shipping charges, payment processor fees, custom configuration labor, missing accessories, physical damage, and restocking costs may affect refund amounts where allowed by law.
Software
7. Software, open-source components, and third-party services
NodeBlaster products may include operating systems, Umbrel, Bitcoin-related software, mining tools, remote-support tools, drivers, scripts, open-source packages, and third-party apps. Those components may be governed by their own licenses, terms, privacy rules, update policies, and support boundaries.
NodeBlaster systems may automatically check for and apply NodeBlaster updates in the background. This feature is designed as a harmless benefit: it helps keep your device current, stable, secure, and easier to support while reducing routine maintenance for you. Updates may include reliability improvements, support tools, configuration refinements, compatibility fixes, security updates, and other improvements intended to keep the system working smoothly. NodeBlaster will try to minimize disruption to normal use where practical.
NodeBlaster does not own or control every third-party project included with or accessed from a NodeBlaster system. Third-party services may change, fail, become unavailable, require their own accounts, or impose separate fees.
You are responsible for keeping credentials, wallet details, seed phrases, payment addresses, recovery codes, and private keys secure. NodeBlaster will not ask you to disclose seed phrases or private keys.
Support access
8. Remote support and customer responsibilities
Some support may use remote-access tools such as Tailscale or other secure connection methods. You control whether to provide access. You may be asked to approve, enable, or disable remote support during a support session.
You agree to use the product lawfully, maintain safe power and network conditions, keep backups of important information, preserve wallet and account credentials, and avoid using NodeBlaster products for unauthorized access, malware, fraud, harassment, illegal mining on systems you do not own, or other unlawful activity.
Content
9. Website content and intellectual property
The NodeBlaster name, logos, product copy, page designs, screenshots, images, graphics, and website content are owned by NodeBlaster or used with permission, except for third-party marks, third-party software, open-source materials, and source-linked editorial materials.
You may not copy, resell, scrape, reproduce, or use NodeBlaster branding or website content without written permission.
Limits
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, the website, third-party content, software information, mining examples, and support materials are provided as-is and as available. NodeBlaster does not guarantee uninterrupted website access, uninterrupted node operation, uninterrupted mining, error-free software, pool availability, blockchain availability, market value, or any specific mining result.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, NodeBlaster will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost coins, lost keys, lost data, lost opportunity, power costs, downtime, market movement, or third-party service failure.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot legally be limited, including liability that applicable law says cannot be waived.
Disputes
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless applicable consumer law requires another rule. The parties will try to resolve disputes informally first by contacting each other in writing.
If a court or other authority finds part of these Terms unenforceable, the remaining parts will remain in effect to the fullest extent allowed by law.
